Welcome to Roast Me. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Roast Me mobile application and related services (the "Service") operated by Dedaldev DOO ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Service Description

Roast Me is an AI-powered mobile application that generates humorous textual and spoken roasts based on a portrait photo you provide. The Service offers:

AI-generated roast text presented in a chat-style interface, with selectable language and voice.
Optional text-to-speech (TTS) voice playback of each roast.
A personal "My Roasts" history of your past roasts.
Multiple roast styles, currently including Roast Me (self-roast), Roast Post, and Roast My Friend Extra. Available styles may change over time.
Auto-renewing weekly and monthly subscriptions with a daily roast generation allowance.
Pay-per-roast credits for individual generations outside of, or in addition to, an active subscription.
A limited free-tier offering for new users (see Section 4).

3. Account Registration

You may use the Service either with an anonymous (device-bound) account or by signing in with Apple or Google. To access certain features, you may need to create or upgrade to a signed-in account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Maintain the security of your account credentials.
Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, including activities under any anonymous account associated with your device.
Use your account for your own personal use only. Sharing your account, login credentials, or subscription benefits with other individuals is strictly prohibited. Each subscription is tied to a single user account and may not be used by multiple different people, whether simultaneously or at different times. Violations may result in immediate account restriction or termination, subject to our standard account policies.

4. Free Tier, Payments, and Subscriptions

4.1 Free Tier

From time to time, we may offer new users a limited number of free roasts (currently one (1) free roast per device) before a paid subscription or credit is required. Free roasts are tracked per device, per user account, and per IP address to prevent abuse.

The free tier is provided as a courtesy and is not a permanent feature of the Service. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and at any time, to modify, reduce, suspend, or completely disable the free tier — including reducing the number of free roasts to zero, with or without prior notice. Disabling or modifying the free tier does not affect paid subscriptions or previously purchased credits and does not entitle you to any refund or compensation.

Abuse of the free tier — including, but not limited to, repeated reinstallation, use of multiple devices or identifiers to obtain additional free roasts, or any technical circumvention of free-tier limits — is prohibited and may result in restriction or termination of your access to the Service (see Section 7a).

4.2 Payments and Subscriptions

Payment Processing: Payments are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store and Google Play, with subscription state managed via RevenueCat, Inc. The terms and conditions of those stores also apply to your transactions.

Subscription Plans: The Service currently offers a Weekly subscription and a Monthly subscription. Pricing and plan availability shown in the app, as published by the App Store or Google Play in your region, are authoritative.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Daily Generation Allowance: Active subscribers receive a daily roast generation allowance based on their plan: Weekly — 10 generations per day; Monthly — 12 generations per day. Unused daily generations do not carry over to the next day. We reserve the right to adjust these allowances; current values are also reflected in the app's runtime configuration.
Extra Generations (Pay-Per-Roast Credits): Both subscribers who reach their daily allowance and non-subscribers may purchase one-time credits for additional roast generations. Subscribers may receive a discounted price on extra generations as part of their plan benefits. Credits are non-refundable, valid for a single use, and do not expire (subject to continued availability of the Service).
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription and credit prices. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect, in accordance with App Store and Google Play rules.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled according to the policies of the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not process refunds directly.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the photos you upload to the Service. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process that photo solely for the purpose of providing the Service (including transmitting it to our AI providers for content moderation and roast generation, and displaying it alongside the resulting roast in your "My Roasts" history).

Generated Roasts: Roast text and audio generated by the Service are made available to you for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to any third-party rights (including privacy, defamation, and right-of-publicity rights) in the source photo. Any commercial use, public distribution, advertising use, or use targeting an identifiable individual without that individual's consent requires our prior written permission and remains subject to applicable law.

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, AI prompts, branding, and software, is owned by the Company and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

Upload photos of people you do not own or otherwise have the right to use.
Upload photos of other individuals without their explicit, informed consent.
Upload photos of minors, even with parental consent.
Generate roasts targeting public figures, celebrities, colleagues, or other recognizable individuals in a manner intended to defame, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm them.
Create content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes on others' rights.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, prompts, or models of the Service.
Use automated systems, bots, scraped device identifiers, emulators, or other technical means to obtain free-tier roasts beyond the intended limit, to bypass paid subscription limits, or to otherwise interact with the Service in an automated way.
Abuse payment systems, attempt fraudulent transactions, or attempt to obtain refunds in bad faith.
Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

7. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, moderate, refuse, or remove any content (including input photos and generated roasts) that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. Photos are screened by an automated content moderation step before generation, and generation may be refused at our or our providers' discretion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our policies.

7a. Abuse Detection and Account Restrictions

We actively monitor usage patterns on our servers to detect and prevent abuse of the Service, including but not limited to: repeated reinstallation to harvest free roasts, excessive automated API requests, systematic circumvention of free-tier or daily generation limits, use of the Service through unauthorized third-party clients or scripts, and use of multiple devices, identifiers, or accounts by the same person to obtain additional free or paid generations beyond what the plan permits.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to:

Classify any account as a restricted or abusive account if we determine, based on observed usage patterns, that the account is being used in violation of these Terms or in a manner that places an undue burden on our infrastructure or constitutes an attempt to circumvent payment, free-tier, or daily generation limits;
Impose generation limits, including a daily generation limit of zero (0), on any such account;
Suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate access to the Service for any account so classified, without refund of any unused credits or subscription time, except where required by applicable law.

By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you expressly acknowledge and agree that the Company may implement such technical and account-level restrictions as a measure to protect the integrity, availability, and fair use of the Service for all users. Such restrictions do not constitute a breach of these Terms or of any contractual obligation on our part.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Warranties regarding the quality, accuracy, taste, or appropriateness of AI-generated roasts.

Roasts are AI-generated and intended solely for humor, satire, and entertainment. They do not reflect the views or opinions of the Company, its employees, or its partners, and may contain inaccurate, exaggerated, unintended, or potentially offensive content. We do not guarantee specific results from using the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.
Any content generated by the AI that may be offensive, inaccurate, or otherwise unintended, including any reputational harm caused by your sharing or distributing such content.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your violation of any third-party rights, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights of any person depicted in a photo you upload.
Content you upload to, or generate through, the Service, and your subsequent use, sharing, or distribution of that content.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

Your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
Any unused credits or remaining subscription time may be forfeited, except where required by applicable law or App Store / Google Play policy.
We may delete your account data, including your roast history and any linked input photos, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app or on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Belgrade, Serbia.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
